The BT28 is the smallest, most powerful benchtop temperature forcing system in its class. Purpose-built for labs where space is tight and test throughput is not, delivering -28°C to +225°C with SwiftTherm™ speed in a unit that weighs less than 38kg.
Where older benchtop thermal systems compromised either temperature range or physical footprint, the RapidTemp BT28 was built to give up neither. SwiftTherm™ technology drives rapid transitions across a 253°C working range, covering the commercial and extended temperature specifications for the vast majority of testing applications without needing a floor-standing unit.
ECO-Stream keeps energy consumption and heat dissipation low, relevant in lab environments where power budget and ambient thermal loading are already constrained. Airflow at 14 scfm is strong enough for thermal capping of larger ICs or module-level devices while still fitting the BT28’s compact form factor.
The touchscreen controller detaches and extends on a 9ft cable, allowing the operator to set temperatures, monitor ramp profiles, and adjust dwell times without leaning over the test setup. Temperature control is exercisable via Ethernet, IEEE-488, RS232, and USB for integration with automated test environments.
Applications: device characterisation, production line temperature testing, failure analysis, incoming inspection. No LN2 or LCO2 required.
