The 964i routes high voltage test signals and return signals to any desired test point: automatically, individually, and repeatably. For multi-conductor cable assemblies, connector arrays, and component testing where manual switching between test points is too slow, inconsistent, or hazardous.

Each 964i mainframe can hold up to 8 switching cards with 8 channels each (64 points per unit) with per-card voltage ratings of 3KV, 7KV, 10KV, or 15KV and individual relay control to route HV and return signals to any test point, with contact resistance under 0.25Ω uncompensated and 0.1Ω compensated. Up to four units chain directly off a Vitrek 95X or V7X hipot tester (ten via PC over RS232 or optional GPIB), with HC Series cards adding 40A ground bond switching and MX Series multiplexers opening dual-input access for an LCR meter or DMM

Overview

The 964i eliminates manual switching in multi-point hipot test setups. Up to 64 test points per mainframe, voltage switching to 15KV, current switching to 40A, and individual relay control for complex cable harness and connector array testing, all controlled directly from a Vitrek hipot tester or PC.
