Split core current transformers designed specifically for Smart Grid applications. ATO uses Ferrite construction to dramatically improve magnetic permeability, enabling high accuracy and excellent linearity that meets IEC 61869-2 requirements for both ratio error and phase displacement. Standard current transformers meet ratio accuracy but often fail phase displacement requirements; ATO meets both, which is the defining specification for smart grid and IoT energy metering applications.
ATO is the LEM CT of choice for IoT remote energy monitoring networks using LORA, SIGFOX, and 3G/GPRS connectivity. Each wireless energy meter using ATO connects to the RF long-range internet and transmits RMS current consumption statistics to a remote server for overconsumption analysis and anomaly alerts. Suited to monitoring electrical motors, ventilators, pumps, and compressors.
