Vitrek’s 4700 measures high voltage directly to 10KV DC or AC without external probes, with 0.03% DC accuracy and 0.1% True RMS AC accuracy that rivals traditional high voltage reference dividers. For production lines, calibration labs, and research facilities where high voltage measurement accuracy is the thing you cannot compromise on.

The 4700 is built around DSP technology that takes over 40,000 raw readings per second: filtered, sub-sampled, scaled, and offset-corrected, delivering 60 high-accuracy readings per second with rock-solid stability on both AC and DC simultaneously. A colour touchscreen displays both AC and DC content at the same time and can plot readings from a few seconds to several days in chart mode, documenting HV drift, ramp time, overshoot, and sag on a single screen.

SmartProbe™ inputs extend the direct 10KV measurement range to 35KV, 70KV, 100KV, and 140KV without recalibration. Each SmartProbe stores its own calibration data, which downloads automatically when connected. The SmartProbe’s ultra-low temperature coefficient attenuator design minimises self-heating, and lower capacitance construction improves AC performance at high frequencies. Use one probe to extend measurement range, or use two probes simultaneously for high voltage differential or phase-to-phase measurements.

True RMS AC measurement covers 0.01 Hz to 600 Hz, from VLF (very low frequency) cable and transformer testing through to 400 Hz aviation frequency testing, with 78dB AC noise rejection for stable 6-digit DC readings in electrically noisy environments. Peak-to-peak, crest factor, and fundamental frequency measurement are all included.

Applications include calibrating hipot testers, HV power supplies, insulation testers, and HV transformers. High-impedance G-series SmartProbes extend capability to electrostatic voltmeter applications with input impedance up to 30GΩ. An optional battery pack provides up to 11 hours of portable operation.
